My other favorite day at the bank was when they'd bus in about 70 Menenites (Amish, whatever they're called)and they would shop in the grocery store and deposit money in their savings accounts [img]confused.gif[/img]

The funny thing is, I KNOW FOR A FACT this isn't the first time they've been asked for id, so what, is it the way I asked for it that pisses them off so much?? Crazy old bats!
I sure am glad I don't have a bus load of menonites coming in to my branch. I have a hard enough time with people who don't speak anything but Chinese!!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Papette, Meninites speak perfect English, they are the folks who supposedly don't believe in modern amenities like cars, BUSSES, electricity, BANK ACCOUNTS, etc. Which is why it was so dumbfounding when they'd come in and buy things like dishwasher detergent and laundry soap before making their deposit [img]confused.gif[/img]Quote:

My other favorite confrontational customers were the ones who'd come up with a bounced check letter and say
"I mailed that bill then but dated it for Friday, they can't cash that check till then when the money's there" as if the date on the check matters to bill collectors.
Or another favorite was the wife who'd sign the husband's paycheck RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME that I'd turn away becuase the signature on the check was forged and they'd say:
"It's not forgery to sign my husband's name, he's my husband" [img]confused.gif[/img]
